Why train here

A rare chance to learn traditional Shaolin

For decades, Grandmaster Shi Yongzhi has trained and shaped generations of Shaolin warriors. Today his academy opens its doors to international students seeking real, traditional Shaolin Kung Fu training.

01Authentic master lineage

Train under one of the most respected Shaolin masters in China and his team of senior disciples. Methods are passed down directly from traditional Shaolin lineages — precise, disciplined, and time-tested.

02Sacred training environment

The academy is a short walk from the original Shaolin Temple, surrounded by mountains, forests, and quiet courtyards designed for focused practice and inner stillness.

03Real skill, not performance

Training focuses on strong foundations, correct technique, internal power, and conditioning. You leave with real ability — not just photos or a list of forms.

What you'll learn

What you'll learn & experience

Every student is assessed by the masters on arrival and placed into a group that matches their level. Training focuses on real skills: strong basics, correct body mechanics, internal power, conditioning, and traditional forms.

Core training pillars

  • Traditional Shaolin Kung Fu (stances, kicks, punches, footwork)
  • Shaolin conditioning for strength, endurance, mobility & resilience
  • Qigong & meditation for internal health, focus, and calmness
  • Weapons training (staff, sword, and other traditional weapons)
  • Strength & mobility sessions for safe long-term practice
  • Mindset, discipline, and Shaolin lifestyle habits

Training lasts around 4+ hours per day in two or three blocks. Over time you progress through Shaolin forms, qigong systems, and weapons at a pace suited to your ability and length of stay.

Train at your level

Suitable for all levels and age groups. The masters focus on steady, structured progress — not fast results or tourist-style training.

  • Beginner-friendly: foundations, conditioning, full guidance.
  • Intermediate: forms, weapons, Sanda basics, combat applications.
  • Long-term / advanced: advanced forms, weapons, personal curriculum.

Whether you stay one month or longer, the goal is the same: real Shaolin skill rooted in thousands of years of practice.
